I used to be either stuck in relationships where I settled for less having my friends pointing out all the red flags I chose to ignore, or I was chasing after guys that had no intention of committing to anything more serious than Netflix and chill.

And to be honest, it was a constant push-pull situation. The more effort I put in, the more they seemed to pull away. It was draining my soul, and no matter what I tried – whether it was initiating conversations, planning dates, or expressing my feelings – it felt like I was never coming out as a winner. I found myself stuck in a frustrating cycle, the more I invested, the less I received.

That’s when I realised..

I WAS FOCUSING ON THE WRONG THING!

I realised that I needed to stop focusing on THEM and what they wanted me to be. The love and safety that I was craving could come from me, not them.


Instead - I started to focus on me, what made me happy and what I wanted from life. Which eventually led to clarity on what I wanted from a relationship and awareness and the attachment issues I was constantly bringing to the table.

For years, I knew - but didn't want to acknowledge that I was anxiously attached.

I thought I could just identify the emotionally unavailable men and choose not to date them. I spent a lot of time trying to solve the attraction puzzle by neglecting to the essential inner work needed and then blaming all the men out there for being “emotionally unavailable”.


In a nutshell, I knew but I refused to do the inner work because I thought I could just logic my way around it. I thought that every situation I got into would be different
